On the second floor, there is a quiet room for guests who need a sensory break while visiting. Weekends tend to be more crowded than weekdays. We visited on a Friday from 9:00am – 2:00pm and it was not crowded at all. Even areas that I thought would have been too young for my 8-year-old kept her playing and having fun. Unique exhibits encouraged problem-solving and creativity, and my kids were all equally excited to turn a corner and explore something new. Building for Kids was the perfect sweet spot for our family. With 8-, 7- and 3-year old kids, sometimes it can be difficult to find things that they’re all excited about.
